If you are driving to your yacht charter in Trogir, plan the parking as well as the boat. Freewave offers guests private parking inside the marina, close to our pier. A shorter walk between the car and yacht makes it easier to unload luggage and provisions on arrival.
Request parking before your charter starts
Our original announcement about parking inside the marina describes advance reservations directly with Freewave and access using a code. Include your parking request when enquiring about a yacht. Before travelling, ask us to confirm availability, the current price, the exact location and the access arrangements. Reserving a boat does not automatically reserve a parking space.
Tell us your charter dates, how many vehicles you are bringing and your expected arrival time. If you are travelling in a larger vehicle, with a trailer or in a motorhome, ask about suitable arrangements in advance. This avoids having to look for an alternative after you arrive.
Organise your arrival at the sailing base
Our base is in Marina Baotić in Seget, near Trogir. Confirm the meeting point for handover directly with Freewave. Parking close to the pier can shorten the walk, but you still need time for registration, checking documents and the onboard briefing. Pack your luggage so that the documents you need during handover remain easy to reach.
Arriving early does not mean that an earlier yacht handover is confirmed. Follow the times in your booking and read our check-in and check-out information. Also plan the return at the end of the sailing week so that unloading and the drive home fit your travel arrangements.
Include parking in your charter budget
Parking is a separate part of your holiday budget. Use the current Freewave price list and your confirmed reservation when calculating costs. Older news articles may contain previous rates and do not replace a current offer. For a longer stay or different arrival and departure days, ask how the parking charge will be calculated.
Would you like to organise your sailing yacht and parking together? Choose a boat from our charter fleet in Trogir and send us your travel dates. We can then agree the next steps for your arrival at the base.
